A Programe Management Committee (PMC) has been constituted under the GoI-UNDP project “Enhancing Institutional and Community Resilience to Disasters and Climate Change” to guide, support and monitor the GOI - UNDP project (2018-2020) to suggest policy level decisions. The committee is comprised of the Additional Secretary (Disaster Management) as the Chairperson and AS&FA (H), MHA, Joint Secretaries from the Disaster Management Division, MHA, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministries of Urban Development, Country Director/Deputy country Director from UNDP, Principal Secretaries (DM) of programmes of States and the Director (DM-III) as members.Please click for more information
The Project is being implemented at the SDMA/Department of Disaster Management for overall strategic guidance and oversight. Actual implementation of the project will be carried out by the respective Municipal Corporations/District Administration.
City Project Coordinators in each of the project cities, recruited by UNDP, provide implementation support to the City Administration/State Government.
